The “Chili – Smack” has begun !!!

Evidently there are some confident chili chefs out there, already proclaiming victory in the upcoming Surfrider “Lip-Rippin’ Chilympics Chili Cookoff” to be held Sunday, October 16 at the Hot Fish Club in Murrells Inlet.

Great turnout for Locklear Art Show!

Buddy Locklear and the Surfrider Foundation would like to thank all of those who were treated to a great art show this past Wednesday night at the Litchfield Exchange. An estimated 80 to 100 people attended the show.

Beach Sweep Saturday, Sept. 17th

Beach Sweep/River Sweep is South Carolina’s largest one-day volunteer cleanup event of its kind. Every 3rd Saturday in September, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., thousands of South Carolinians clear beaches, rivers, lakes, marshes, and swamps of aquatic debris.

Art Show to Benefit Grand Strand Chapter

Gaston “Buddy” Locklear is holding an Art Show at I.D. CANCELLED – Paddle Out

Surfrider’s National Paddle Out scheduled for today (Sunday) at Surfside Beach has been cancelled due to Hurricane Ophelia.  The Surfside Beach Police informed us that we cannot have the event due to the expected higher seas and rougher conditions.
