Mark your calender for two great upcoming events!  The annual “Lip-Rippin’ Chilympics Chili Cookoff” will be Sunday, October 16 at the Hot Fish Club in Murrells Inlet. The event will be from noon until dark!  Surfrider’s 2nd Annual “Longboard Classic” will be held on Saturday, November 5 at Downwind Sails at Springmaid Pier (just south of Damon’s in Myrtle Beach, near 30 Ave. South).

The weather should be beautiful; let’s just hope for some waves.  Parking will be available inside the “curve”, just south of Damon’s.  The event will begin about 8am.  Surfrider invites all men, women, and groms to come out and compete.  This event is open to everyone of all skill levels, and the entry fee is only $15 ! All participants will get a Surfrider t-shirt. There will also be a raffle and giveaway for an awesome new KINETIC Longboard by Gary Wilson and Mark Allison at Surf City Surf Shop!!!  You can sign up at the event, or entry forms are available at most surf shops.
