Come get your surf on! The Grand Strand Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation is proud to present its very first surf contest, the ASF Surfrider Surf-Off 2013. Join us for food, fun, and competition this Saturday, May 18 at the Holly Ave. (near the Pier) in beautiful Garden City, SC. First heat is 8:30am sharp!
The Grand Strand Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation is joining in one of the world’s largest gatherings to promote clean energy. In conjunction with the first Surfrider Surf-Off this Saturday, May 18, members of Surfrider will come together from across the Grand Strand and link hands on the beach as a display against dirty fuels.
Join Surfrider on Saturday, May 18th from 6-10 pm at the Hot Fish Club in beautiful Murrells Inlet, SC as we celebrate the season with the annual Makai Luau! Food provided by Jimmyz Japanese Hibachi, beers from New South Brewing Co, Surfers Punch, music by the Wavos, Best Lei contest, Ugliest Shirt Contest, limbo contest, a presentation by Chris Dixon and Chief Kamu’s Fire and Hula Show to end the evening! Tickets are only $30 per person or $55 per couple and ARE ON SALE NOW!
Come out to the 2nd Annual Surf Skate Expo and Seafood Taco Cookoff, Sunday March 10th, between Dockside and Creek Ratz. Last year went great and this year should be better, come out and learn about the local surf/skate culture. See local artist and skaters, see who makes the best seafood taco, listen to live music and meet local surf shop owners.
