The annual Oyster Roast and Bloody Mary contest is a day full of fresh local oysters, tasty bloody mays, music, fun and more! This event draws thousands of residents and visitors to raise money for the Grand Strand Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation and has become a staple of Grand Strand events. People come from all over for this fun day of music, the art, and the local crafts. Last year attendance was estimated to be well over 3,000 people, and with this year’s event at Half Shell in Murrells Inlet, we expect an even larger turn-out! This year’s event is scheduled for Sunday, February 25th from 11am until 6pm.
- VENDORS: Businesses, artists, and crafts can have a 10X10 booth space at this year’s event at $50 for the day. We have a kid’s area and are seeking kid-friendly vendors in that area.NOTE: We are no longer accepting Food Vendor Applications. All spots have been filled. Any Food Vendor applications submitted online or by mail will be returned with your entry fee.We do have to pay a vendor fee to the county for each vendor, the cost of which is half of the fee we charge.
