At long last, the Surfrider-proposed shower towers are up at locations in Garden City Beach and Surfside Beach. Thanks to careful collaboration with the respective county officials and with support from Village Surf Shoppe, the long-time-coming project is finally completed. We wish a fun, easy, family- and environmentally-friendly time at the beach for all!

Beach Advisory Committee makes recommendations
The Surfrider Foundation attended the Beach Advisory Committee today at the MB City Hall regarding proposed changes to the surfing regulations, dogs on the beach and jet skis. In all, it was a mostly successful meeting, with few changes being made.
