The Grand Strand Chapter has adopted a section of Myrtle Beach from 29th Ave. S. to 15th Ave. S. through the SC DHEC Adopt-A-Beach program! Students, teachers, and Surfrider volunteers turned out Saturday morning (March 4) to begin hanging the new Sea Turtle Awareness signs developed by the Surfride Foundation and the Myrtle Beach State Park.

Students of Myrtle Beach Intermediate School, along with the assistance of Kim Clayton of Black Water Gallery in Conway, have created a book titled I, Caretta.
